Icon chosen because of ALL THE FREAKIN' QUESTIONS IN THIS CHAPTER! Agh. JacknDean are so suspicious, sometimes. I hope it's not boring or anything. It was harder to write than usual, partly because these guys are dab snippety stubborn and like to glare a lot and NOT TALK. ::shakes finger at recalcitrant characters:: Get along now, okay? I love you

Hee! Probably. Now I want to write a scene with Jack and Daniel talking about ghosts. It would be hilarious. Daniel would be so non-plussed, and wonder if maybe Jack wasn't spending too much time alone with his imagination.

Thanks! Characterization is really important to me. I think it's also important, for this story, that Dean is still somewhat raw and inexperienced. Despite everything he's done with his dad, I think John still shielded him from a lot of things. There's a lot of things Dean learns over the course of the TV series that he doesn't know at this point.

Another great chapter. I like your exchange of information (or lack of) between Dean and Jack.
And I'm glad that Jack isn't going to leave Dean on his own, that he realized Dean needed help.
I am looking forward to the next chapter :)

Oh Jack and Dean. Sometimes their interation is the easiest thing in the world to write, and sometimes it's not. At all. :)
