I lost the SPELLING BEE :(

I got out on inoculation (thought there were two Ns). :( Last year I went out on diarrhea (thought there was one R). I'm sensing a theme here.

Oh, well. I still have three trophies at home. ::pets them::

I'm an awesome proofreader, that I am.

They have spelling bees for adults?

Sorry to hear that you lost but you still have the trophies!

We do at the Grabill Country Fair, because we are JUST THAT AWESOME. (There is also the cherry pit spit, egg toss, sack race, blueberry pie eating contest, and various other country-type events.)

The spelling bee actually has categories for all ages, from like six years old and up. A couple of my trophies are from '93 and '94, when I was, what? Ten and eleven.

I may possibly have more than three, but I forget. I just know that when I was seventeen, I won in my age category and my mom won the adults, and it was fantabulous. She didn't do it this year. Boo, Mom! She's awesome. She wouldn't have gotten out on "inoculation." When I went back to the stands all disappointed, she said she thought that would be an easy one.
