The stitching does look really cool. And unusual too, I bet most people wouldn't recognize it. You could tell people it was some fancy new kind of eye-art, but only the most hardcore people get it. (And the last part, at least, would be true. You ARE hard core!)

You are amazing! Seriously, I don't think I would have been as brave as you going through that. I was flinching and my eyes were watering in sympathy as I read parts one and two. I'm so happy that you were able to do it and it's all going well. Will be keeping you in my thoughts!

Wow, what a fascinating experience and how awesome. I'm glad the doctor was able to do the partial tissue procedure in the end. You have nerves of steel getting through all of it.
