Dayyyyyum. As much as I love my broken Dean and I love to find canon suggestions as to just how broken, I'd never considered his words to Cas as being that double-edged. Ouch. Now that I see it, that's amazing. And this whole little fic felt sad and frustrating and perfect, just like the show. Kudos!
