Happy to! This is such a fun little ficlet and has just the right level of WTFery to bring a smile to people's faces, I think. =D

It's of course up to you! Though you clearly want to explore this more. I think the trick would be in how to go about it... I guess my suggestion would be testing possible alternative forms of communication during-the-curse, or... I can see a LOT of misunderstandings coming out of this, so... time stamps? Such as: "What do you MEAN you didn't gas up? I told you to before we left!"

"You asked me about your Elephant Toaster, I thought you wanted me to pick up pie!"

"...That pie would taste even better right now. Distract us from being stranded."

"Dean, I have procured the kitchen appliance you asked for. Also, this plush pachyderm."
