Oh, wonderful. Immensely satisfying. I liked that they were in (I assume) reverse chronological order.

Oh, wow, I loved how these moved backwards through time - how every single one of those hugs had just as much meaning as any other. Too often I think that people forget that the angels do have emotion - if not an understand of how humans apply them - so I especially liked the last one.

for such a simple and kinda cute premise this was a beautifully lyrical and satisfying read. and this -- He discovered he had eyes. When he opened them he was in the desert, and it was dark, but he stood under the spill of a million gathered stars. that's just rad.
