This was delightful.. and I have such a craving for a cupcake now. I *loved* the idea of Castiel keeping in touch with pastries rather than postcards. Genius.

hee, thank you! I just had this very strong image of Dean and Sam finding delicious desserts at every motel, and the idea was so delightful that I couldn't pass it up. Castiel seemed like the only viable way to make that happen. ;D

I love that Dean didn't care where his mystery pastries were coming from (this is the same guy, after all, who'd eat a ham cooked by supernatural means) but Sam was doing tests on them! The arguing and teasing was so in character. Loved it! ♥

I'm so glad you thought it was in character! I love writing lighter moments with these three, as well as angst and suffering, of course.

I had to make myself a pan of baklava a couple days after writing this. I have no one to blame but myself.
