I think your writing is beautiful. I can see why you thought of the burning bush, or perhaps a bit of that thought coming through: I think you did well at conveying the awe and the sense that when faced with a being of such power and honor, one you belong to, there is nothing to do but... what she did.
Being fond of canines, I also liked the details on Amarok, like the moist nose and the grin.

Obviously, it didn't perturb me either. I'm mostly thinking of friends from my church, which is very conservative. I can accept a pagan point of view in fairy tales and folk stories, enjoying them for what they are while still believing that I know the true God. I think myths are very cool for their sense of awe and wonder. I'm glad that that came across in my story.
