Good opportunity to say that what we need is a short piece describing just how John caught up with that asshat (my new favorite word) and taught him the error of his way. And maybe other hunters warning him beforehand the mistake he made in getting one of Winchester's boys hurt. That would be a great addition to these 2 great stories. Good work. Bravo!

Sam's cunning in the second one was particularly satisfying. Dean won't let anyone "coddle" him, but the way Sam knows him well enough to get past his defences - just fantastic!
