I need to re-learn how to be friends with him. I think that's what's been missing for a while.

....what scares me is how difficult I'm finding it. We do have stuff in common, right....?

we kinda rushed everything, rushed friendship, rushed love
obviously love cant work without friendship...but the distance has made us focus on preserving love because we are afraid of losing it, at the expense of an undeveloped friendship. so while we were in maintainance in the love department, the friendship started to fade because that didn't get any time. it made the jobs we chose even harder.

its going to be difficult for the both of and is probably going to take a few weeks at least...we have to change modes of interacting through the relationship, and actually be friends and not have the huge overhead of relationship so we can see each other clearly.
we have stuff in common and we have stuff not in common. that's the perfect combination for sharing interests while having plenty of stuff to talk about.
