LOL at the pine cones... what makes it weird is that they bleach them and they they paint them. I was like, couldn't you just ... paint it white in the first place? Why'd you have to bleach it?

My point exactly. I mean, if I really really really needed a white pine cone, the nice people at Plaid or Krylon or Rustoleum ("other brands are available," she said, proving she listens to/watches a lot of BBC) have made that super easy. And there's no smelly bleach involved.
