The other night I was getting ready to head out to the grocery store to pick up some victuals and asked the paramour if there was anything zie needed. Interesting - do you really attribute it to self-doubt? From my position in the arm-chair, it seems like it could be a focus on what your reactions are to some situations instead of a larger one. At least that's what I think when I do something along those lines.

While I wasn't entirely able to parse your second sentence, I think I got the gist of it.

Self-doubt is a thread that runs through a lot of my personal problems. If the paramour is in a bad mood my first thought is to question what I did wrong: it takes a conscious effort to remind myself that most of the particle collisions in this universe have nothing at all to do with me.
