My name is Maes Hughes. I'm a member of the military but they have me working the investigations unit of the police force.

Usually police officers tend to sit down and enjoy their spot of authority, taking advantage of the people in the cities they're stationed in.

...But the Azanus police force seems to be at least half-decent at doing their jobs.

Well...if I remember, I caught something that the other officers using magitech missed. I've always wanted to get into something like investigations since there's more deskwork but that's what got me transferred.

Yes it's definitely interesting, but right now they're working me. I'm due for a promotion soon...and it's a very big one...so they're working me harder than they used to...
