Happiness Meme - Day 8 (Last Day)

This almost feels like I'm cheating, since everyone and their brother has watched this video in the last 48 hours or so but, if I'm being honest about this happy meme, I simply can't ignore how very much Susan Boyle winning over the world with her inspirational performance on "Britain's Got Talent" makes me happy.

Everytime I watch Susan Boyd I lose it. I have seen it at least 20 times and I moved and stunned. Every. Single. Time. I even sent it to people at work and my work sort of frowns on that stuff. But it was so inspirational that I figured if anyone called me on it, I would just say..HOW CAN YOU WATCH THAT AND NOT BE INSPIRED!

And it makes me think that any dream is possible, nothing is unatainable. It gives me hope.

I have cried each and every time I've watched it too. It's so remarkable and breathtaking and just awe-inspiring. She truly is an amazing talent and I'm so thrilled she was able to show the world her gift :)

It is well worth watching again. And again. Susan Boyle brought the house down.

Definitely is a good thing to put in the happy category... even if you do blub like crazy watching it.(g)

P.S.: Hugely behind, so I hope all is well with you and your critters.

Susan Boyle is amazing. I saw a headline on Google or CNN news that says she hopes to sing for the Queen. For her sake, I really hope she gets that opportunity. she's been an inspiration for so many - she deserves that wish to come true too :)

I have a nasty cold bug and hubby's working out of town so RL is a bit hectic but I am surviving it. Check out this link to see what's happening with the critters:

I'm helping my dad with his move to my neck of the woods tomorrow. Truly not looking forward to the day. Once he's settled, all will be better but surviving tomorrow, with him undoubtedly being a raving/ranting loon, is not at all how I want to spend a day off of work ::sigh::

I hope all is well in your world :)

Hey, did you get your dad moved, and did it go all right? It's tough to move a parent or parents. We did that last fall. Crazy.

Life here is nuts, but not necessarily in a bad way. Just a bit unmanageable.(g)

Susan Boyle's 'Cry Me A River'... amazing. Hope she does get her wish. It would be well deserved.

Hope that cold bug of yours has moved on, and it looks like things are going well on the puppy front. Glad to see it.

Take care!

Definitely! And somehow I'd thought deciding not to have children was going to free me from this kind of responsibility! He's already acting a little too dependent on me but hopefully, once he feels more settled, he'll be acting more independently again. Of course me stopping by for lunch with him tomorrow is only going to fuel the fire but I still do want to check up on him. Hopefully we'll find a happy medium in a few weeks or a few months.

I hear you! Despite the hecticity ('tis too a word!), I did tag you in a meme the other day. Don't feel at all obliged to do it - I usually avoid tagging people but this meme depends on it, so I thought of you two - that maybe one or both might want to give it a go. I had fun with mine.
Here's its link should you wish to give it a try ( ... )
