Eh, actually all they did was not letting Lina PUBLICLY convert. Actually, I kinda expected her to be dumped into some......erm.....rehabilitation center, but I think the authorities know that will PROBABLY cause RLY bad riots.

Our country's got so many racial/religion issues, but really, don't know what to think. Things could be worse, but agreed - being multiracial there's gotta be some 'humanly' consideration somewhere, rather than being so 'strict' and 'bound' to what the constitution says. Geez man, talk about going out of date. They say being a Muslim is all about flexibility and keeping up with modern 'updates', making it the perfect religion, yet look at majority of the Malaysians. The original Malays had such rich culture (look at the Kebaya, in the past it was never teamed with a headscarf, and it was even partially transparent, filled with intricate laces and worn with a tube inside). Now, we're trying to cover up so much so, to the extend that the only parts exposed of a woman is her face. Some are so bad, it's only their eyes! (Doesn't this kind of culture sound so imitative of the Arabs, HA HA HA).
