According to the Official Sims 3 site, seam to be pretty sure the new game will be released on February 2009.
I know there still much ahead before happens, but the announced date impressed me ... its soo soon!!

When I saw this, I thought of this community immediately.

Over at MATY they have a monthly building contest where everyone uses the same MAXIS house and re-builds/decorates using only Maxis stuff.

This month's challenge is a Strangetown house that really could use a nice makeover.

Well, when i was trying to get a few shots for the community in general (banner images, avis, etc) I went in a couple of untouched hoods, so i could get shots without any change in style (that was totally on purpose btw lol ... i was aiming for the most maxis-based style possible)....
