Hi guys! :)

I've been away lately for personal reasons, and probably won't be doing anything sim related for a few months more, however I would like let everyone know that the comm will stay running as usual, so keep posting and sharing your games, makeovers, and story updates here.

I was all about the Curious household before I even had the game. A few months before I got sims2 (for christmas) I got the prima guide and read it like it was the gospel. And I couldn't WAIT to see an alien baby and abduction. The only place to get both (with no waiting) was the Curious house. I was NOT disappointed.

While I was awaiting the birth of the very first alien baby, I discovered what would be the One True Pairing to end all True Pairings, Pascal and Nervous. The prima guide hadn't mentioned how primed they were to be a pair and I was THRILLED to discover it. And the rest, as they say, is history.

The first pre-mades I remember playing were the Dreamer family. The first sim I made and played was my selfsim, and Darren was one of the welcome wagon. I liked him, so went straight over to his lot. I fell head over heels for him and Dirk, and they're still my favorite family in Pleasantview.

The Grunts. They were the first family I played when I opened Strangetown. I think it was the military theme that drew me in. I wasn't so interested in the straight up fighting, and so went against everything and worked on getting Tank and Ripp's relationships up. :P

In a way, I kind of miss the simplicity of just the base game, before all of the EP's and the added sims and 'hoods. Before I discovered CC. Now I'm getting all nostalgic! :)

The very little I remember is that I LOVED Strangetown. I'm pretty sure the first household I played was the Curious one. I loved the house itself, and I still kind of do, even if it's rather un-practical. I did as the game had been planned, let Vidcund get abducted and then I made Lazlo get abducted too. In the end, there were about 5 alien babies in the house and I loved it so much. I'm also pretty sure that Crystal Vu lived with them too.
I also believe I played Ajay Loner a bit, IIRC he wound up with Lola Curious. But I'm pretty sure he ended up with some of the Singles girl.
