Time for a comm. makeover!

As our third year of maxis love starts, it's time for a group project to give our community a very tasty, and much needed, makeover!! :)

The idea is to create a new banner, mood theme and icons, using only pictures of maxis makeovers shared by members for this project.

This sounds like so much fun! I only recently joined up, but I love doing makeovers and I'd love to help the comm out. :)

I'm on board! What about clothing... of course a serious change in clothing probably wouldn't fit the theme, but could we change clothes if it's maxis match and still makes the character recognizable?

Oh yes, of course! ;)
The idea is to change cloth and hairdo (also make up, face hair, jewelry, accessories, etc), just keeping a overall maxis-match style, and main features of each sim, so anyone looking at the banner, for example, could easily recognize the characters featured on it.

I'll post more details later, but wanted to mention the whole project soon to start getting feedback and ideas from everyone. :)

How fun! (and easy, too--I'm lazy so easy is good)

Question: Does this include townies/downtownies/etc or just the maxis made family/bin sims?

Good point, but to be on the safe side I would say controllable (family/bin) sims only (and Bella, who's technically a townie, but still the icon of everything maxis after all).

For the fun we could perhaps include a few picture of Mrs Crumplebottom, or Mr Humble, etc, but with townies in general is hard to say which ones are more popular or better known than others, so unless that we're very careful about choosing them, it may look like we featuring random sims instead of maxis/ea ones.

I was thinking about Bigfoot. I know he can't really be made over (since he doesn't wear clothes) but wouldn't it be sweet to see his fuzzy face as a mood icon?
