One thing I wanted to ask, could we change the roof structure of a house?

Yes, you can. As long as you don't move, delete or add walls, you can change anything else. :)

Just a couple of little rule questions (about lots).

Can stairs be changed? And is it okay to add walls for the sole purpose of framing a staircase (using these)? Also, are half-walls okay (since they're similar to fences)?

Just wanna be sure I don't mess up. :P But I assume the most important part is not changing the size of the house and rooms.

Yes, you can change change the stairs no problem, but dunno what to say about the walls.

I guess if you use those stairwalls it's OK because the only purpose is to cover the stair, so the actual wall is not really visible as such and doesn't divide or add spaces, but no half-walls. I should be more specific about that, but with "Walls" I was thinking on both types of walls.

Even if it would be similar to using fences, half-walls inside the house will still divide and/or add spaces and the idea is to use the spaces the lots originally have, as they come. (of course if someone gets creative and try using fences inside the house, or something, I can't say much, XD but for the sake of leaving the rules clear, no walls or half-walls. I'll fix that to the post)

Hope you can still do a makeover, I'd love to see what you do. Remember the due date is Nov. 4, so there's like a week left. :)

No worries, I ended up using a spiral staircase anyway so that made all the questions kinda irrelevant. >D But thank you for answering, maybe someone else wonders too. :) I pretty much always use those stairwalls on any modular stairs I put inside, so I just wanted to make sure. And I also often frame staircases upstairs with half-walls (which doesn't add/change spaces, either).

My makeover is about half-way done, so I should definitely finish it in time for November 4th. :D
