A note about dare 22

Hi guys! :)

So far we have two great entries for Dare #22: Personal Space , both very creative and lovely, however I'm starting to wonder if maybe I wasn't completely clear about this challenge.

You are more than welcomed to redo, or even build from scratch, a whole lot for this and show/share it with your entry, but the main idea of this challenge ( Read more... )

I'm confused... I thought I have done this right because I showed the whole antique shop because I thought it would be interesting as a background story but the main room I focused was Mortimer's office in the second story of the shop, which is his personal space. Wasn't this correct?

No worry. In your entry Mortimer's space was perfectly clear, and the whole antique was a great idea. Perfect for him.

And JIC I'm not saying the entries were wrong. It's just that one got me a bit confused, so before getting more entries I decided to explain the challenge in better words to be safe.

(besides, in general all of the dares are usually pretty open ended, so unless someone does something completely off, no one is right or wrong. :) I just wanted to focus this one in more reduce spaces instead of whole lots, simply to vary from other challenges)

Thank you! I was really worried.

Thank you and sorry if the wording wasn't the best and made you worry. I just wanted to make sure members wouldn't think they have to do a whole lot for the challenge. :)

I was focusing on:
"The only restriction is that your space must be personal for that sim and that sim alone"
I figured since he lived alone, his house would be his space. I could easily have just focused on the living area if I would have realized, and left out the kitchen and bedroom.

Please don't misunderstand.
You can show the whole house on the entry, but it just needs to have one particular area to be his favorite. Like the living room for example.

In fact, that's what I thought you were showing, but got a bit worried that maybe members were thinking that the challenge required a whole lot to be made, when it's only about one specif space/area/room. (and again, the entries can include a whole lot, as long one particular area is the main focus of it)

LOL! It would have been a lot easier to just focus on that one room. I should have read more carefully.
Now that I know I kind of want to do another one!
