Some friends I haven't seen in a while asked me to go to the midnight showing with them. I've been reading the abysmal reviews all day. I'm preparing myself with a Frappuccino and as many gummi bears and contraband candy I can fit in my purse. This will be a train wreck, but at least I can make it delicious.

I had already decided not to go see it, but possibly if I had friends and a massive sugar rush it might be bearable. Good luck!

It breaks my heart that they cut the Katara/Master Pakku fight. Not to mention racefail and apparently just being generally a crappy movie.

I'd already decided to skip it mostly on account of racefail, but it sounds like additionally it's just not very good. I think it's running under 10% over at Rotten Tomatoes, and that's just sad. The source material is so good, and from all accounts it's just been tragically, wretchedly mishandled. As a fan of the TV show, I'm just disappointed by the whole mess.

Yeah, I'm also staying away from this one. This was mostly because I didn't see any possible way it could be good. Now I'm actually just hoping it is epically awful enough that no one would dare make a sequel.

I think that I will not take Vic to see this after all then. Don't want to break his heart with uberfail.

I'm keeping my head in the sand for the next 2 days. And, whatever, I'm seeing it with a big group of friends, so if it sucks, we can heckle together.

NO SUKI.

Yes Suki! She's definitely in this movie. AND SHE WILL ROCK BECAUSE I SAID SO.

PS- It looks like the majority of reviewers on Rotten Tomatoes haven't even seen the movie, but are giving it low marks anyways, making the score meaningless.

Actually, it looks like despite her appearance on movie posters, there is no Suki in the movie.
