My husband died on November 14, 2007, only a little more than four months ago, so this is pretty much our only source of sadness now, and it's a great grief for both of us, and for my six year old granddaughter, too. I've been lucky to have found LiveJournal and the many friends I've come to know here, to help me in my struggles to get on without my husband. Annette is working, and she has friends there, plus lots of other friends, who try to give her support. But as you can see, it's very hard for her. She's very emotional and I try to encourage her to let herself feel those emotions. She was extremely close and attached to her dad. It's hard for her.
At any rate, I'm grateful for your comments. I'm taking the liberty to pass what you said along to her. I think it will make her happy to learn what you think of her message to her friend.
Thank you for taking the time to say something so kind.
Love, max
