The Intruder
She was quietly staring through the window, looking straight at some cars passing by the building. First there was a big, red mini-van, being followed by a blue, shining combi. Further on, she saw an expensive-looking mercedes rushing through the street... Then she finally raised her eyes and started to watch the millions of fluffy pure white clouds slowly swaying at the baby blue sky.
Her lazy actions were the effect of having an as well blank mind.
Almost seventy days had passed since she agreed to be Donghae's girlfriend; though she still felt damn uncomfortable with it. No, it's not that she hadn't gotten used to being always cautious about his fangirls and hiding their relationship so intensely that it almost drove her crazy; it was something else. Something that made her suffer inside without having the opportunity to tell somebody about it. Who would understand her? Nobody. Who would laugh at her words and tell her that she was simply overreacting? Everybody.
And the worst was that she couldn't tell him. Him who she tried to trust most of any other people, him who was supposed to be the one she could share her whole heart with.
She couldn't deny it, she saw it with her own eyes - the way her boyfriend stared at him passionately, it was so different from what she experienced herself. The way he talked to him with that shockingly sweet voice couldn't be compared to how he told her that he loved her. The way he touched him so gently and softly - why did she always feel that his arms grabbed her harsher and more ruthlessly?
'Only friends', Eunhyuk and Donghae, the eternal twins of the band, always fooling around, doing much more fanservice than appropriate and staying side by side, hour after hour. One could say that they had been born to be best friends but she could sense... not, she could smell that there was so much more behind it. That the two had been hiding a dark secret, some memories that should never ever come to light.
It was quite funny - in the grotesque way - how she felt like the fifth wheel while being together with the two men. Wasn't it supposed to be the other way round? Shouldn't Eunhyuk be the one to feel a bit awkward when hanging out with the 'lovebirds'?
Yeah, love... She knew Donghae loved her, he didn't leave her completely by side, he still cared about her, was able to do everything for her, always remembered about her and hadn't kicked her out of their dorm yet - but she felt like he really tried to split his love into two pieces, giving his friend the bigger part.
She sighed and moved her head, looking at the cars again. A bus flashed in front of her eyes, then a yellow BMW, followed by a black convertible...
It's so hard to fit into Super Junior's world, she thought and slowly closed her eyelids. I will always be 'The Intruder'.
