Summary: Trying to wake up Sungmin is almost like a suicidal act.
Wake up call
It was supposed to be a joke.
Supposed.
The morning it happened for the very first time was actually quite funny but also a bit annoying. Kyuhyun stood up early because he wanted to finish a mission in his computer game so he was already fully dressed and awake when Leeteuk came into the room, saying:
"Good mooorning~ Time for our schedule! See you two downstairs in forty minutes!"
The eldest disappeared as quickly as he had come in. Well, he had a lot of rooms to enter and a lot of members to inform. It wasn't easy to be a leader, though Leeteuk did his job really well.
But the point is that he didn't have the time to wake up every member by his own so it was Kyuhyun's mission now to make his roommate and hyung, Sungmin, get his tedious self out of the bed.
"Yah. Sungmin-ah. Wake up." he made his first attempt, saying these words loudly and firmly towards his sleeping friend. There came however no reaction, the young man was sleeping like a child. Kyuhyun repeated the whole action, standing up from his chair and stepping next to the bed.
"Sungmin-ah. Hyung. We have a tight schedule today. WAKE UP." he emphasized the last words, almost screaming them out of his lungs.
When he saw Sungmin slowly opening his eyes and blinking at him sleepy, he couldn't help but let a little smirk appear on his face. Finally!
He just hadn't predicted that his hyung would stare at him for a while and then turn towards the wall, letting a sigh out of him and wanting to continue his sweet slumber.
"Leave me alone" Sungmin mumbled and raised his hand to wave it at Kyuhyun in an ignoring way.
"HEY! Leeteuk-sshi will be mad, he's waiting for us! WAKE UP, YOU CORPSE!"
After saying this words, he heard a quiet giggle coming from the sleepy man.
"I'm not a corpse."
"So please get your pretty butt out of the bed and don't force me to use more drastic ways to make you do so."
Once again, the reaction was a simple chuckle.
"More drastic ways? I wonder which those are."
"Remember our leader-sshi's 'water screen'? It could teach you a lesson."
Sungmin finally turned back again, facing his friend now with a grin on his lips. He looked at Kyuhyun with squinting eyes and seemed to be quite amused about the situation. However, he still didn't seem to have any intentions of standing up in the next couple of minutes.
"Come on. I'm not scared of water" the elder muttered indifferently and clinged to his blanket, snuggling cosily into it. Seeing this, Kyuhyun decided to be more rough and know no mercy. He pulled the blanket with strong determination away from Sungmin, making him lay there helplessly, cold and showing his pink pajamas to the whole world.
The latter grumbled dissatisfied and tried to get his beloved blanket back from this ruthless monster but he didn't succeed - Kyuhyun had already thrown it onto his own bed so that Sungmin would have to stand up to get it.
"I hate you" was the only thing the victim could say and he turned towards the wall again, ignoring the fact that it was less comfortable to lie there without any cover. Kyuhyun grinned evilly.
"I love you, too. Now, stand up."
"No."
Banging his head against the wall - that was the thing that the younger one wanted to do when he heard this word coming from Sungmin. What more was he supposed to do to make this lazy cow move out of the bed?
"Fine. You'll be late for the schedule then. Fine." he announced eventually, not caring about his hyung anymore. He only shrugged and went to the bathroom, hoping that the elder would be smart enough to know that it was really time to get up.
But when he came back to their room ten minutes later and saw that Sungmin was sleeping AGAIN, he became worried about the situation and with a loud sigh he decided to continue his wake-up strategies. He just couldn't leave his friend here and make everyone wait for him and get angry... Sungmin had always been so nice and caring towards him before, he had to show him some gratitude now.
"Oh, Sungmin, please... You're older than me but less reasonable when it comes to waking up... Hey. You don't want to get into trouble, do you?" Kyuhyun told calmly, nearing the bed again. He then sat down onto the bed and eyed the latter carefully. Sungmin was sleeping so sweetly and leisurely, it was almost a sin to put an end to this. But he really had to, the clock was ticking, there was less and less time available and the elder still needed to get ready for the schedule.
Kyuhyun reached out his hand towards the other man and started to shake him gently. This made Sungmin recover and open his eyes again - he glanced at the 'monster' suspiciously and mourned:
"What?"
The younger one smiled kindly and said:
"Get up."
"Hell no!" Sungmin exclaimed and wanted to turn towards the wall again but Kyuhyun seeing what the other one tried to do, held him back from doing so and got annoyed about the situation once again. The nice self of Kyuhyun disappeared in one second and the monster returned.
"IF YOU DON'T GET YOUR LAZY ASS OUT OF THE BED IN ONE SECOND, I'LL LEAVE YOU ALONE!"
Of course he didn't mean it seriously because he would never leave his hyung after all what he had done for him but it was supposed to be a warning for Sungmin.
But it wasn't. Min looked at him with the same unconcern as earlier and simply yawned.
Kyuhyun felt that he would get furious in a moment so he took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down. Observing the other one yawning made him look at Sungmin's lips and then he got an idea which he knew would SURELY get his friend finally out of the bed.
However...
Ah, whatever.
He sighed, leaned in and pressed his lips quickly against Sungmin's. He felt the softness of those cute m-shaped lips for a while, deciding not to hold back before the other one reacts. Kyuhyun didn't have to wait long - the elder widened his eyes in great shock and broke away quickly.
"What the hell are you doing! You- you-" Sungmin couldn't even finish, he was too distracted after what happened. The maknae only shrugged and didn't seem to be concerned about the situation.
"Waking you up, stupid."
Sungmin frowned in disgust and jumped out of the bed. He ran towards the bathroom as fast as he could and slammed the door behind him loudly. This made Kyuhyun laugh out loud and stand up from the bed, being amused about the fact that it was actually so easy to waken Sungmin, he just hadn't known earlier which method would work.
He decided to remember this for future waking-up's to prevent the morning madness which he had experienced before.

The next day, it was the same.
Two days later - still the same.
Sungmin would always be malcontent in the morning and not wanting to get up. Kyuhyun would always shock him with his sudden kisses and make him leave the room in the blink of an eye.
Three days after the first happening though Sungmin already knew what Kyuhyun would try to do - so the maknae didn't even have to use his crafty strategy. He only needed to show him his face and Sungmin already fled with a scream.
The kissing case must had left a big trauma on Sungmin's mind because he started to be obedient and the morning problems disappeared as if by miracle. Kyuhyun was greatly satisfied that he had such big influence on his hyung.
Although...
"Sungmin-ah. Schedule today, get up."
"I don't want to..." Sungmin mumbled and turned his body towards the wall.
Kyuhyun stared at his friend in shock. So the whole thing returned? The elder decided to be tedious again..?
It was quite weird but the maknae didn't even try to understand. He simply stepped to the bed and leaned over Sungmin to use his always so effective method.
He was waiting for the elder to beat him, pinch him, scream or run away - whatever - but something else happened. Sungmin rose his hands and embraced Kyuhyun's neck, pulling him nearer. This made the maknae lose control over his body and fall onto the bed, close to his friend.
"What the-" Kyuhyun tried to exclaim but Sungmin connected their lips again and only deepened the kiss.

"They are ten minutes late already! We will not make it on time if they don't hurry..." Leeteuk shook his head worryingly as he eyed his watch carefully.
"It's for sure Sungmin's fault, as usual. Wasn't Kyuhyun supposed to wake him up?" Donghae asked the leader and the elder shrugged.
"Yeah, I also thought so..." he mumbled and scratched his head surprised.
