I'm going to have to disagree with you here. It makes sense to use the three names separately. Sharon refers to the model (or any subset of the model that has the Sharon imprint). Boomer is the instance that was in the first half of the series. Athena is the instance who showed up later on, on Caprica.
Meshing the name for Saffron (the name I'll always use for her) makes a sort of sense, since all the names refer to the same person. But that just isn't the case for Boomer and Athena.
