This is the epitome of perfection. I love your characterisation, you got the boys down to a T, especially Puck.

When Mrs. H found Puck later in the afternoon, he was sprawled out in the bone-dry kiddy pool in the front yard, staring up at the sky like he was waiting for a miracle.
The image that created literally made me squeal.

The ending? Adorable.

I honestly do not know what to say. Ugh, Mai, I'M FEELING ALL THE FEELINGS. Whenever someone tells me I get characterization right, it's like-- Idek. Thank you so, so much. I'm so excited that you read it and liked it.

Carole was the scariest part to write. ;~; I was basically like, 'gosh, what would my mom say?' Thank you, bb!

You underestimate your amazingness. You're very good at sliding into characters; perhaps even best at looking at the smaller ones who haven't gotten many (good) stories or screen-time. And the Puck/Finn bromance from back in the day fits perfectly within that. If only I could steal your ability to write dialogue; talking is totally overrated though. We should all be mimes!

This is sweet. I think the rubber band gun and the DBZ mug are great ways to set the ages of Finn and Puck in the story. The concept that Puck was jealous over the idea that Finn might want to spend time with someone else made me go "awwww." Good descriptions too. My favorite is the sprinkles were bleeding color because of the heat. I hope we see more from you!
