Well, it's a start. Outline what you have there, and go into detail. I have a brother in law that's working on his MBA right now, I think I could sic him on you. I'll have to see about that.
Yeah, the state of sci-fi market is rather sad at the moment, but I'd say there's still room for that around the globe.
For that, the internet is quite interesting way to distribute media, thinking about here for example, where local TV networks have almost no interest in the genre, just because they think there's not enough viewers, or that they can't form any viable advertising group from them.
Well, it's not surprising that many English-capable people follow the current sci-fi series by downloading them from the 'net... it ends up hurting everybody, but there's no really any other source for them here. Other than waiting them either to be released on DVD (after a few years) or local TV decides to take one season of the show and re-run it for the next three years (after even more years).
Investing... well, I'll call you back if I win in the lottery. ;-) Oh and fingers crossed on that job! ^^
As for sci-fi, yes, it's exactly the problem. There is a huge market out there but not much of it concentraited. But with the internet, it doesn't matter. And with the rate that high speed internet is getting pushed out there is a huge audience that could easily handle the bandwidth demands.
Hmm, need to put this in the business plan too. International markets means more markets, more sales.
