somewhat sunday groggy. someone i know said she wanted "clarity" and i asked her if she knew the secret for that, to please tell me. she laughed and said "that's exactly what i needed to hear."

which frustrated me, because my question wasn't rhetorical. i really wanted to know.

going to go for a walk alone down by the hudson river i think. its not a jetty, but it does have its charms; i think because it makes me feel like i can go anywhere from there.

do you have any days off? do you ever feel guilty that you read a lot more when you were younger? i need to READ something. oddly, i started reading shelly's frankenstein, and there is a peculiar charm to it; must be the maritime exploits. god i get talkative on coffee...will talk to you later. i just tried to write good wishes for you in ten different ways but they all looked awkward. one of them was really awkward and went a little something like this:

i'm hoping for only really good things to happen to you today.
