So, I have a dilemma I've been weighing and I need help. Frankly I really like sci-fi novels with vampires and werewolves and loch ness monsters' and such. But Twilight? It felt a bit twee. But at the same time I am vaguely curious.

So for my flisties who have gone there, I have a poll:

I read the first two books in two days. I'm waiting for the last two to come out in paperback...

It's all very high school drama, yet strangely addicting. So, I'd have to answer yes and no to your poll. I did like it, but it's exactly what it looks like. ^_^ But, then again, sometimes you need a trashy novel as pure escapism, and even the English-major-lit-snob in me won't deny that.

I haven't read it yet. I've heard very mixed things about it, so I'm undecided about whether to read it too. I think I'll end up trying it...
