I'm coming to Van in August! Hooray for vacations and the wedding that gives me a good excuse to vacate Mississippi if only for a little while!

James: when do you get back to Canada? I'll be in Van Aug 5-20. I hope we manage to cross paths!!!!

Sadly, the lantern festival is not happening. According to their website, the society that puts it on doesn't have enough money to do it this year.

Also, I'll miss the fireworks, too. :'(

BUT! I will get to see all sorts of awesome people! And even if you're only in town for an afternoon of doing laundry between fieldwork trips, we will hang out!

Hi Jade,

I'm meeting with my supervisor tonight and i hope we'll figure out when I'm coming back. My project is behind schedule so I may not get back before September :-( but I should know more soon.
