I'm so afraid this country is not going to wake up, and half our nation plus a little bit of election cheating is going to bring this disaster of a ticket to head our government.

Half our voters are like abused children that keep going back to the criminals that hurt them. Horses that return to the barn that is on fire. Either out of greed as the heads of giant corporations, or because they can't see past abortion and their church.

My thought was that, exactly. The General Public[TM] are reacting like the abused wife who is lured back by the seemingly apologetic husband. He comes slinking back, all "gosh golly shucks," holding out a big bouquet of Palin, saying "aw come on honey, it'll be different this time, I promise!."

And like you, I'm afraid that the poor shell-shocked populace will once again believe him and take him back.
