Ivan has been boycotting his morning nap. WTF?! He is only 8 months old. I have tried making it earlier and later. Nothing has worked. I refuse to nurse him to sleep. I never had to do that before, and I am busy taking care of other kids, making breakfast, etc. He is going to have to figure it out. I kind of feel like I am going to lose my mind

Is he teething? Riley napped like a champ until he hit 10 months and then suddenly it was so hard to get him to sleep. Took me a while to realise, oh yeah, incisors. You'd think I would have remembered what teething babies are like by my third, but noooooo.

I hope along with you that this is not a permanant boycott.

Yes. I think he is constantly teething. Incisors do look like they are popping up soon. I did give in and nursed him, and then he slept for...25 minutes. He took a three hour afternoon nap to make up for it. Who knows what he will do while we are gone. I think I wanted him to be sleeping well in order to assure myself that he will be fine when we are gone. But he is a baby. All bets are off.
