I cannot help agreeing with you. I just hope the news is reliable, and not just an ill-founded rumor.

The thing about the news is that it makes complete sense for WHV to want to do a bunch of DC DTVs. Firstly they will want to still cash in on the DCAU after the entire thing is released on DVD and this is a relatively cheap way to do it. Secondly, with Marvel coming out with a load of DTVs over the next couple of years it makes sense that they would find some way to compete.
