I grew up with Doctor Who, and long ago learned that the utter lack of continuity is a feature, not a bug. It will absolutely contradict itself on a regular basis. Just enjoy it. Half the is the nonsense.

Four was my favorite Doctor when I was a kid, so that scene made me beam with joy.

Four was my favorite when I was younger too. SO glad they snagged him.

TTG!

I found the episode really obnoxious.

Metal Men

Well, these shorts are all about experimenting and that includes animation studios WBA wouldn't bat an eye at for a normal series.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Ha ha, yeah. And awesome banter in this episode. May is so badass. But her leaving the door open was a WTF moment. They did a really great job in particular with MCU world building here with Asgard and Earth. I hope they at least reveal what happened with Coulson for the mid-season finale and let the rest of the season in part deal with the ramifications of him knowing the truth.

TTG!

Me too. That's that right word for it.

Metal Men:

The experiment failed here.

Agents Of SHIELD:

We've never seen a mid-season finale from Joss before. I'm curious to see what it will be like.

Agents of SHIELD

First - Maurissa, Jed, Jeff and Joss. Second, I'm betting a cliffhanger episode that deals with either one or more - Coulson subplot, Skye subplot, the group that made Centipede and messed with the pyrokinetic.

I meant Mutant Enemy either way. Joss didn't have TOO much to do with Dollhouse either once it was up and running and that never gave us a midseason cliffhanger either.

Teen Titans Go! "Caged Tiger" - I thought the Light stuff was much funnier than the boys trapped in the elevator ( ... )

Teen Titans Go!: Yup.

Arrow: It explain why Thea is such a monster though.

Agents Of SHIELD: We were never led to believe that before though. That's why it was so cool.

Avengers Assemble: "Man of Action and Jeph Loeb are clearly targeting the young boy demographic and don't care about any others. They don't need deep stories, just big action, cheap laughs, and in Avengers' case, tons of movie references (which is why I think the show may not be clicking, it's not its own thing)"

I just thought that was worth repeating. :P

Hulk And The Agents Of SMASH: I've always been good at gross similies ever since I was a kid. .

Arrow: I just hope they don't do the whole "She's evil because her father is evil" thing. That's plagued DC Comics for far too long with characters like Raven and Rose Wilson (Slade's daughter).

Arrow: It would be believable for Thea though. She's already a sociopath.

Just watched Day of the Doctor after renting it. Very enjoyable stuff - the "event" episodes often take some leaps of logic, but this one was solidly constructed. Nobody gets imagined back into existence this time ( ... )

Tom Baker: I noticed the "favorite faces" bit when I rewatched it but I already had my review up by then. But I don't think it was a coincidence. I think the Doctor chooses who he regenerates into on some level even if not consciouly. That has always been my theory ( ... )

I looked your reviews over as I was watching the boxset, but I didn't comment as I wasn't sure you'd see my posts there.

I heard a lot of negative feedback about season 7, but it turned out to be quite a bit better than I'd heard, if not perfect. I agree that the Ponds were holding it back, and that Moffat clearly didn't know how to send them off.The Clara episodes were a definite improvement. Nightmare in Silver would probably be my pick of the set.

Would you like me to repost the entire thing? I have it saved on my computer.

Neil Gaiman wrecked the Cybermen for all other writers. My pick for best episode of the season is The Crimson Horror.
