Futurama - Great use of Nibbler AND advancing Amy's career (they've said unlike the Simpsons, time does pass in Futurama, so she had to earn her degree at some point). The evolution episode was great too, and I'm glad they didn't forget about Cubert, even if I feel about him the same way Zoidberg does.

The Dark Crystal - I haven't seen this since I was a kid. I do plan to watch it again, but I'm afraid it might be too scary.

Muppet Christmas Letter - I thought it was fun, but a little quick. Speaking of homoeroticism, wasn't there something with Bunsen and Beaker? Well, more on Bunsen's part?

Star Trek First Contact - Also my favorite Star Trek movie. It not only used the characters well, but also the history of Star Trek and all the other series in some way (and even influenced Enterprise).

Futurama: Agreed.

The Dark Crystal: It's not quite as scary when you're a grown-up. If you can handle Buffy, you can handle this.

Muppets Christmas: I always hear gay jokes about the Muppets (particularly Bert and Ernie) but I always think people who make them are REALLY reaching. Bunsen and Beaker being gay is QUITE a stretch.

Star Trek: First Contact. Agreed. Again. I tend to do that with you a lot. ;)

I can handle Buffy fine, but I still get freaked out when I see the puppets in the Genesis "Land of Confusion" video.

I never thought Bunsen and Beaker were gay until this special (and still only Bunsen). I forgot how the gag went, but didn't Beaker wish for a beautiful woman and Bunsen wished for Beaker or something?

I don't think that's what that meant when Bunsen wished for Beaker back. I think Bunsen was trying to throw salt in Beaker's game. Dr. Honeydew has always had a cruel streak when it comes to Beaker's happiness.
