Family Guy: Agreed about the abortion and atheism jokes just because they are so obvious and an extension of Seth's political philosophies. But the Laura Bush joke was funny precisely BECAUSE nobody ever talks about it even though it's a fact. I mean NOBODY. You never hear it on the news or even The Daily Show. It's completely off-limits for some reason and the joke was completely WRONG for going there, so I laughed.

Agree with you about the rest.

Somehow remorse for me, doesn't make everything all right. She gets a pass that she doesn't deserve in my book.

You know what I saw on BBC just now?

An animated version of Hiro RIDING A DRAGON AND FIGHTING GIANT CLOCKWORK ROBOTS.

How awesome is that?

The BBC roped the actors into a series of specially-made idents, and they're all frankly bizarre. Around the end of the first season we had Clair looking into a mirror and seeing a reflection of herself (in a room of broken doll parts) smashing into pieces like she's made of china, Bennet walking past a wall covered with eyes watching him, and Syler posing with some bats.

Those ones are all online now, so I'm guessing the Hiro one will be too. I'll grab some stills for you when it does.

I hope they're on an upcoming DVD release here in the States. That would be cool.
