I have to agree with a lot of what you said, my Heroes enthusiasm went down this season. Rather than kick things up, they slowed them down and made established characters unlikable and most of the new characters weren't interesting (I liked Monica too). I understand why everyone had to go their separate ways at the end of last season, but they could've done more to keep them connected and construct a bigger story. I guess the whole season was a mixed bag, so I'll be returning for season 3, just with lower expectations.

Get the DVD. You'll see the season was supposed to end with a bigger bang. I hear the writers have learned from this season and are going to kick off year three in a big way.

I'm in a bit of a financial bind, so a lot of my DVD purchases are going to be put off until November. I'm cautiously optimistic about year three.
