Reviews for the latest episodes of Doctor Who, The Sarah Jane Adventures, The Spectacular Spider-Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Family Guy and American Dad.
I don't think the Peter/MJ shipping is going to be that strong, Gwen is still incredibly sympathetic and feels like the girl you want to root for. Spider-Man shouldn't be 90210, but I think one of the strengths of Peter's social life over, say, Clark Kent is that whereas Lois is the only one for Clark, Peter's love life can go in more than one direction and it's fun to see how it all plays out.
The Simpsons had some amazing lines, which really strengthened the episode. I want Bart to own a bear!
I love the Manger Babies, so it made me laugh when they came back. Luanne may be an idiot, but it was nice to see Lucky show some intelligence.
I think the sponge thing works for Steve because he really is a loser. He may be older than Bobby, but it feels like he's more naive and not quite sure who he wants to be.
I agree about Gwen. I liked the show more when it was just her, Peter and Harry. I haven't been enjoying the episodes with Mary Jane in them as much just because they have been making Peter quite unsympathetic. I don't understand why the show is messing with the good thing they had.
Thing about Steve is that he's relatable to the audience. I personally don't "get" Bobby any more than Hank does but I think a lot of people have been in similar situations to Steve (even if not as outright crazy).
