I actually missed last weeks episode and decided to try watching this one anyway. I was a little startled how well I kept up. Did ANYTHING important happen last week? I felt like I didn't miss a thing.

Nothing important happened last week and it felt like nothing important happened this week either. The only thing that might have a huge impact is Peter's trip to the future at the end and that ticked me off because time travel is HIRO'S thing and it makes him less important if Peter can do it too.

Peter can do everything. He's a series destroyer. At least when Sylar was still in the business of power-stealing, Peter had a counter-balance.

The series should have left Peter decently dead.

And anyway, I think you might be starting to understand the frustration I had with the series when I tried watching it on TV in it's first season. Each episode feels almost exactly like the episode before it, not much important seems to happen that often, and even at 6 weeks in it feels like we haven't progressed that far from the season's starting line anyway ( ... )

I thought Bennet facing his mentor was kind of cool, mostly because of how frightening it is to have someone threaten to take your memories.

Hopefully all Claire and West did was convince her that she was a lot drunker than she thought.

It was still a crummy thing to do. That they were TRYING to humiliate her just shows what a negative influence West is especially considering all the ways the plan could have gone "wrong". Worst case scenario Claire is outed again and she and her entire family will be on the run again. Claire needs to ditch that loser.

I know the audience is overprotective of Claire but considering she was one of my favorite characters last year it's really annoying how much she has been bugging me this season.
