I saved up my money and bought SEVEN DVDs today. I got the tenth season of The Simpsons, The Muppet Show Season 2, Darkwing Duck Volume Two, TMNT, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Fast Forward Volume Two, Star Trek Generations, and Star Trek Insurrection. Reviews of all will be forthcoming but it will take me a long time to finish all of them.

Let me know about TMNT. I'm a mild Turtles fan, particularly of the original 3 live-action movies. So is my brother. But I didn't see TMNT. I was going to, but then my brother saw it and said he was disappointed in it, saying it wasn't even as good as those first 3. So I've been scarred.

Oh, land I'm interested about your trek reviews, and Darkwing Duck. I remember DW being something I really liked as a kid, but have been reluctant to see again.

I wasn't really a kid but a teenager when I saw Darkwing so I had no illusions about it being a great show. But Volume One was much worse than I remembered. Then again, I remember from when I used to watch that the early episodes were easily the worst of the series and that it got better as it went along. But the fact of the matter is that cartoons in the eighties / early nineties kind of sucked so Darkwing was simply better than other TV cartoons I had seen up to that point. With so many great cartoons out of the mid and late nineties I'm not surprised that that's no longer true.

I'll let you know about TMNT. Don't expect the Trek reviews for another month or so. I like watching a movie after a season of DS9 and I plan on getting season three in September.

I'm still waiting on The Tick. They've still left off two episodes so I'll wait to see if Disney manages to include them on the next volume. I'm not going to get the sets and be suckered into buying a "Definitive Gold Box Edition" for the two or three episodes that weren't included. Twin Peaks fans got hosed and I don't want to same thing to happen to Tick fans (especially me).

That's a pretty nice haul. The Simpsons is the only definite for me, but I'm going to wait until September to make my next order (if that).
