You have a wonderful way with words, Sir. It's a treat to read your writing. While I can only imagine how difficult it is to be away from home during a time of year where relations, and time spent with friends and family are most emphasized, I do hope that you are having a wonderful time in the middle east. I'm sure your newfound allies are treating you every bit as good as the ones back home, and I know that the thoughts of those you care for here are with you always.
