I feel the same way around people. I don't know that there is a solution for that. I have to be around someone who likes to talk a lot to feel comfortable.

i'm the same way with new people. i get crazy anxiety.

but hey, i think you're doing something really brave, and if you're brave enough to go out there in the world with a suitcase and a guitar then you're certainly brave enough to have a conversation with someone new.
