you have foot drop too! i'm guessing that was as a result of your still-fairly-recent surgery, i think i remmeber us talking about it/the possibility after polyday?

Yup, that's correct. I don't really mind it in itself, I more care that I have to take care when walking without shoes (hence I'm usually not bare-footed) and also the fact that my legbrace is wrecking my boots. I should buy some more, come to think of it.
yeah, it's the being careful not to trip over one's own foot, or trip over nothing, that gets me sometimes *nods* i don't wear my orthosis all the time, in fact i don't wear it much at all at the minute... it makes a big (positive) difference to my gait, but it does get uncomfortable for my leg... i've not noticed it being bad for my boots yet *smile* boots are cool though, they often give me enough support to get away with it. i agree walking barefoot can be perilous, and i often don't do it either.
I've heard others make similar comments re foot support, not only those with foot drop, so for that reason I'm looking for some boots that I could get away with having as work-wear.
