I realy need to start coming up with imaginative subjects. Not least so I can find posts when searching through comment email. Unless anyone knows of any decent email indexing and searching solutions for Linux ( Read more... )

For the email indexing, is depends somewhat on which style of mailboxes you have. For mboxes, there's a mboxgrep, for maildir's I tend to just use regular grep, or Thunderbird's own search. I've seen others that put the emails into a database though, and I'd think they would also have a decent full-text search enabled system as well.

Also,
I'm starting to work on the payment and booking pages for Bicon 2005, I'd appreciate any thoughts (or code) you have for the Paypal and booking pages.

try roasting carrots and butternut-squash. both are incredibly good roasted (imho). my family and i like roasted broccoli, but other call us weirdos. make your own mind up about that one :)

I've never done it, but I'm told carrots can go a bit dry when roasted.

I've not met the rest of your family, but I'd call you a weirdo - roasted broccoli or not ;-)

When are you next due to visit Manchester? It's been an age since we last met.

i'm due to leave manchester as soon as i have copied some photos on to my laptop. i'll be back in 3 weeks or so, i reckon.
