The Most Fantastic Thought

... and he had the most fantastic thought. He decided to ask his god for the opportunity to not believe in him anymore. Could he fall to his knees and pray, 'My lord, grant me disbelief.'?

It's so funny to me...now. But it seems like you are feeling exactly what i felt. There was a time where I used to pray every night, "God just let me go! If you let me believe that you don't exist everything will be fine!" But God has a warped, (yet somehow fatalistic) sense of humour. BTW just because you don't believe in him, doesn't make him any less real. Shit hey? :)
