I love that Freya didn't give up on him and the way he grew to trust her. Neat the way her being able to read minds really ended up helping Brendan's recovery. I really liked the idea of him not talking because it would make what happened real, make him remember it. Nicely done.

*clapping madly* LOVED this! Poor Brendan, so battered mentally that he can't bring himself to speak for fear of making it real. And Freya, not giving up on him, knowing to take it slow and let him set the parameters. And her doing his talking until he was finally ready to face that himself, and reassuring him that he wasn't alone through any of it. *happy sigh*

What a great read to send me off to dreamland--thanks! *huggles*

Wow, this was so powerful, made all the more so because you didn't tell us what happened to poor Brendan and left it up to us. Freya is so wonderful and compassionate in this, I just want to squeeze her in thanks, and Brendan is so brave to come through this and begin to heal!

Well done.

Thank you. :) I'm glad you liked it so much. :) Sometimes what is unsaid is just as important or more so than what is said...

Thanks for the review! :)
