It's on something like 19th or 20th and Hawthorne.

Anyhow, I've been good. Keepin kinda busy with the vineyard stuff and freelance web design/development work. Other then that I've mostly been hangin out up on Mt. Hood on the weekends.

In my last few experiences, I have found it wise to stay away from said "gourmet" pizza joints i.a. Garlic Jim's..ick! All hail New York style pizza hole-in-the-wall joints!!

That's what I told the girl, but she insisted it was good and I was starving.

In the end I ended up getting a real meal. IE, BBQ'd beef brisket w/ BBQ baked beans. Yum!

heh, no kiddin.

I think I am allowed back now, but I've found a place that doesn't make me want to kill everyone I see and they let me carry my gun and stay 'til 5am!

It's pretty cool acctually, it's called the Speakeasy, it's over on SE Taylor between 6th and 7th, only 6 blocks from my house!

But yeah we should hang out, do you have my email or cell number?

Surprised of the above comment, but seriously that was 3 years ago . . . our discovery of this place was quite the contrary . . . for the past 6 months our family has been enjoying the best pizza this side of the Mississippi. Pesto Pomodoro to die for!!!!!! Vincente's has by far the freshest, most delicious of any we have ever eaten. And that hand tossed crust - Hmmmmm. The wait staff is attentive, and from all thier fresh salad choices one of our favorite choices is the Greek. They all have scrumptious scratch made salad dressings. Although my husband enjoys a favoite draft beer from their extensive selection of drafts, micros, and imports, my favorite is one of Vincente's signature cocktails, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. Once we discovered this specialty pizza (gourmet in every sense) we can't seem to stay away for long.
