We're here!

I'm amazed at the hospitality that has already been shown here.  First of all, the house looks amazing!   New carpets and flooring throughout the house and other small adjustments have really made the house look 100 times better than the last time we saw it.  It originally looked like a fixer-upper.  Now it's already fixed up for us!

I'm glad that the Indies are taking good care of our favorite Todds. If I played the tuba, I would totally give you a parade. How are the kids doing?

You know, there's a marching band that practices not too far from here (we're 1/3 mile from the high school) and we hear them every evening. I guess you could say that we are getting a parade. Now all we need is ticker-tape...

The kids are doing remarkably well. Aiden was a little down last night because he missed Grandma. Until yesterday, Aly told us we weren't allowed to say the word "Tennessee" because it would make her cry. Yesterday, she announced that it's OK to say "Tennessee" now. She loves her room and the horses that live behind us.

Sounds like the kids are adjusting.. I'm glad Aly is coming along. I hope that Aiden meets some really great friends at school and starts to feel a little more "planted" there. We're praying for all of your adjustments...

So, are you going to walk over and watch practice sometime? Let's take the kids to a contest this fall.

What's sermon #1 going to be?

We walked over there today, actually. They're pretty small, but they have a decent sound. Apparently, they go to State quite a bit (I'll have to check on that, though). I'll find out their performance schedule and we'll definitely go!
