wow, bad ass! love it!! I really admire your style and how you blend the pictures in wallpapers and your layout banners. is there a tutorial where I could see how you prepare the pictures?
honestly, both! it's hard for me to put in words what exactly I'd like to know - gah forbid my inability to write it down. I better just show you what I mean ;)
wall 1 the coloring of MJ that still has this amazing contrast/dark parts? wall2 the magenta part? do you prepare the pictures separately and then put them together in a wall and blend it without coloring it again?... wall3 and this one...which leaves me just speechless...is the MJ picture a simple b/w picture and then you add a color layer and multiply it? ...I absolutely love how simple this is and yet so stunning in it's colors and blending....
also, I wonder where you get all your textures from. I checked the resource post but I couldn't find most of the textures you use in your walls :)
I just admire your stuff so much. I'll probably say that 100 times more ... oh god sorry, this is a very confusing comment.
wall 1: for that one i just make the picture b&w and then set a brown layer to screen over it :)
wall 2: for that one i did, but it depends if the pictures are really different colors, you know? otherwise i just do them all together.
wall 3: for this one i did the same as with wall 1 except i used a more greyish color :) just play around with the different settings for your layers and you'll get good results...eventually :P
i get pretty much all of them over at texturize and textures_r_us, so just look through those!
hahah it's alright! anything you need help with, just ask :)
HAHAHA I SEE IT!! i don't use them often, only when they really FIT with the subject matter, you know?? cuz i mean, what's the point of putting a skeleton hand in a wallpaper about...like...friends :P JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!
