And all this is hardly even unexpected either. After Amadinajad's election, people were saying "If elections actually changed anything, the Mullahs would have them outlawed". Probably for a long time before that too, it's just the first time I heard about it.

But honestly, the protests and riots are a good thing. It means that the people are finally making change happen, whether the government wants it or not.
